Idaho Lakeside Custom Home March 25 2015
The Setting: A picturesque lakeside mountain view homesite.
The Designer’s Challenge: Maximize views of the lake and mountains in this architect designed home with massive concrete and wood beam elements, 7 fireplaces and elevator. Create a warm and inviting home for family and guests.
The Solution: Work closely with architect, contractor and owner through all design and construction phases to optimize impact of design options which included use of large scale furnishings, varied textures and colors, and unobstructed views through the grand spaces to the magnificent view. We targeted finishes and fixtures that are easy to clean and furnishings that were durable yet exceptionally comfortable. Our strategic design created a sense of spaciousness and grandeur, minimizing cleaning and maintenance, but is warm and overall a year-round haven for the family.
