The Setting:
3 Bedroom Condo located in NW, Portland.

The Challenge:

This is a second home for our clients. Their main home is a bit more traditional, but for their “place in the city” they wanted to go with a more contemporary look that was still comfortable and inviting. Friends and extended family are always welcome, so the furnishings had to be hard-wearing as well as beautiful and functional. They love neutral palettes but also wanted to bring in bold hits of color to add drama. The views are one of the main attractions in this condo which we took into consideration as we selected furniture and layout.

The Solution:

We started by designing a custom leather sectional for the main living room and a custom sleeper sofa in the family/game room for additional sleeping. There was some minor reworking of built-in cabinets and bookcases which saw new life with glass shelves and lighting installed. While the palette is neutral, the space is anything but boring with the additional of colorful accessories and dramatic, oversized art.
